Casa Grande, Arizona

The year is 1989 and imagine Casa Grande, approximate population, 19,000 people and known for once being the spring training home of the San Francisco Giants.  Rumor has it that one of their star players stated that there were more Circle Ks in town than stoplights.

Now fast forward nineteen years to our last census, July of 2008, and look at Casa Grande now.   The population was taken at 41,152, Circle K is alive and well and outnumbered by stoplights.  Yes, we have grown from a small town into a small city but, thankfully, that "small town" atmosphere and character remain intact.

The significance of 1989 is that was the year our family moved to Casa Grande.   I believe the same reasons we were drawn to and chose to move to Casa Grande still apply today and possibly one of the reasons that you are reading this.

First, the obvious reasons:

Location, location, location:

    Nestled between Phoenix and Tucson.

"Perfect for access to "big" city life without having to become a part of it."

Weather:

Average year round temperature is 86 degrees for a high and 53 degrees for a low.

Average monthly rainfall is one half inch.

Warmest month - July - average high is 107 degrees, low is 76 degrees.

Coolest month -    December - average hight is 67 degrees, low is 37 degrees.
.
Small town atmosphere:
Even though we have grown in numbers over the last few years we are still have that friendly hometown attitute.  Our quaint downtown area has specialy shops and resturants that you would find "back home" and yet just east of town by the I-10 is a great mall any city would love.  All over you will find friendly faces and a caring community.

Amenities:

Fine dining,Shopping, Leisure activites, schools, churches, museums just to name a few.

Finally, the more in depth reasons to consider Casa Grande.

Rather than tackle the complex issues of our city, we will allow the professionals.  Our friends at the Chamber of Commerce have done a tremendous job answering questions regarding Casa Grande with an online book entitled the Casa Grande Directory and Community Book 2010.  Some of the highlights include a historical perspective, economic statistics, educational and employment opportunities, dining guide, calendar of events, etc.

The link to their website is:   http://www.casagrandechamber.org/

This is very well done and, hopefully, answers many potential questions you may have and allows you to consider our fine city.

If you do, please, feel free to call

for any of your potential housing needs. We look forward to meeting you.
